INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
Individual therapy can help you better understand yourself and improve your overall well-being. Processing your feelings and thoughts in therapy gives room for personal growth and can help you achieve your goals. These are common areas I tend to work with my individual clients on:

ANXIETY

Anxiety can be debilitating and lead to frequent irritability or difficulty concentrating. These everyday difficulties can be highly taxing and overwhelming, but psychotherapy can improve your ability to enjoy life and focus on work and relationships.

DEPRESSION
If you are struggling with depression and experiencing low mood, lack of motivation, or daily struggle in different areas in your life, psychotherapy can help you get better and feel less helpless. Slowing down and receiving support can mend past wounds and let hope into your life.

RELATIONSHIP DIFFICULTIES

All relationships have ups and downs. However, some of us experience intense struggles around maintaining friendships or functioning in romantic relationships. Others have difficulties with their families or in their dating lives. In therapy, you will be able to explore and gain a new perspective on your relationships in order to form deeper connections with the people you care about.

IDENTITY CONCERNS

We all deal throughout our lives with questions regarding who we are and what our place in the world is. These concerns may be related to our sexual, gender, cultural, racial, or familial identities. exploring out identities is an essential part of both connecting with ourselves and with others.

TRAUMA

Traumatic experiences affect our body and mind. They leave traces that impact our day to day in a variety of different ways. Exploring and gaining insight into past traumas can bring movement and change into areas that were previously too painful to address.

GRIEF AND LOSS

Processing the loss of a family member, friends, or a romantic partner can be a long and painful process. Therapy can provide you with a safe space to grieve such relationships and separate from your loved ones in a manner that allows greater growth and freedom.

COUPLE'S THERAPY
Couple's treatment provides a safe environment for partners to discuss and address difficulties in their relationship. By helping each partner to see and support the other, couple's counseling can improve communication and strengthen both physical and emotional connection. I work with couples from an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) approach, a popular modality that prioritizes emotional communication and challenges harmful patterns of interaction.

THERAPY FOR ARTISTS AND CREATIVES
Working in a creative field often comes with great challenges. Artists frequently deal with professional, creative, financial, and social struggles. Writing block, stage fright, and difficulties with co-workers and collaborators are only few of the issues artists confront. I enjoy working and supporting creatives as the learn to overcome these difficulties and express themselves more freely. In therapy, clients can get in touch with themselves and with their muse in order to improve their ability to "play" and engage in the creative process in a more fulfilling way.
